Quite often I like a light salad for dinner and caesar salad is simple, yet so good. I always make the dressing myself – it is really easy to make and much better than the one you buy at your grocery store. Instead of adding croutons I chose a slightly more “low carb” version by making crispy chickpeas – and make sure to make a big portion – you might get addicted!

Hence the name “ris” (rice in English) it was rice with a chicken curry sauce, and on top you sprinkled with bananas, pineapples, raisins, coconut, and peanuts. I added all the berries I could find; strawberries, raspberries, red currants, blueberries and blackberries – there are no rules, so pick your favorites. It is time to share a new, delicious, and very fulfilling smoothie that can keep you going for hours. The thing about this smoothie is that it is not just a mixture of berries, fruit or whatever you usually put in your blender. This time I added an egg, yes a raw, organic one. I know it may seem kind of crazy and not that appealing for some of you, but I’m telling you – it is good! Not only do you get a creamy texture, you also get a smoothie that is loaded with proteins and far more fulfilling than a pure fruit smoothie. Also I added almonds and avocado to get some healthy fat and banana and blueberries to provide vitamins and minerals for your body. At this moment I am testing a lot of grain free and low carb recipes, simply out of interest. This egg wrap is without any flour or milk, and made simply from eggs, seasoned with a little salt and pepper. You can add the topping you prefer or whatever’s in your fridge. I chose chicken and avocado since they go really good together, and added cabbage, crispy apples and crunchy almonds. The wrap is really high in protein and unsaturated fats, which makes it healthy and fulfilling. And if you make more than you can eat, it is perfect for lunch the next day! Continue reading
